When I arrived at Relationships Services, a national organization with 200 staff, there was no internal training programme in place. I rebuilt a comprehensive programme for practitioners from scratch, doing the training needs analysis, writing the training strategy, writing competencies, designing and writing the training modules, and then delivering and evaluating them and assessing staff.

Relationship Services training became a reason staff worked for the organization “RS has such good training since you have been here”. I have organized the delivery of Emotionally Focused Therapy to hundreds of practitioners including counsellors, psychotherapists and psychologists from New Zealand, Australia and the United States.

I have an extensive background in group facilitation. My initial training in groupwork was with Max Clayton. I have facilitated many groups over the years – therapy groups, work groups, education groups, conference and workshop groups, and mens groups.

What ever the professional training or group facilitation needs are for your social service organization I can meet with you and we can explore how I may be able to add value.
